I will keep the page for the Senior Seminar Share site up if anyone wants to use it as a connector to this set of blogs.
For Spring semester, I will develop a different page. If you like, I can post on this page so everyone here can link to next semester's students to see what they are working on.
Have a great holiday season and keep thinking about the work you have individually and collectively done.

Lashes with a Wet Noodle
Well, I have been reading blogs with great disappointment.
I had hoped to see more and more substantive work in the class blogs by now. Some of you are doing fine, but you are in the very small minority. I expect you know who you are.
The rest of you, who are also unlikely to read this post, need to get busy.
Since I only see you individually once every two weeks, I expect your greater participation in this shared responsibility to one another.
Remember that taken together, your participation in the web blogs count as much as 30% of your grade for this course. The few who are posting and commenting substantively have an A in this. The rest of you are in the C category with a couple of Fs for the very few who have yet to post.
Since those of you who are in trouble are likely not to see this, I will copy and paste to an e-mail message.
The time to change your negligent ways and redeem yourselves is now.

Getting Started
Senior Seminar Students,
As we begin the blogging for the semester, make your first posts informational about what you have done by Friday August 31 towards starting your Senior project.
I will read the first blogs on Monday and make the links for your posts.
From that time forward, you will be responsible for posting once a week and for reading at least one other person's post and responding in some meaningful way. As we go the latter will become easier since you may be running across references that may be of use to particular classmates.
